摘要: The relation between the viscosity of mud and the electrochemical properties of surfaces of particles constituting the mud layer are examined based on the “theory of electrochemical anchoring force” for the prediction of the critical shear stress. This stress is calculated from the condition under which the van der Waals force and the force due to the surface charge of particles balance the shear due to water flow.
