摘要: This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation two gesture representations (overlaying hands and cursor pointer) in a video-mediated scenario--remote collaboration on physical task. Our study assessed relative value with respect to their effectiveness task performance, user's satisfaction, perceived quality terms coordination interaction remote partner. show no clear difference between these user satisfaction. However, when considering collaboration, overlaying condition was statistically significantly higher than pointer condition. seem suggest that more expressive representation is not so much gain performance but rather experience, specifically collaborative effort.
