摘要: Abstract The increasing greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel power plants can be reduced by capturing CO 2 flue gases means of adsorption, a post combustion capture method. An on-site experiment conducted at duct 500 MW thermal plant using activated carbon and zeolite samples revealed sharp drop in the concentration 10.6% to 2.4%. Based on this study, rotating bed adsorber (RBA) system following combined principles pressure temperature swing adsorption is proposed as viable process. This fitted existing before chimney. RBA consists disc-shaped adsorbent sheets with parallel passages which are divided into four sectors. At any instant, two sectors exposed gas, while other remain de-sorption chamber. chamber heating section maintained under vacuum cooling section. effect efficiency was also investigated.
