摘要: A granular continuous-flow membrane bioreactor with a novel hydrodynamic configuration was developed to evaluate the stability of aerobic sludge (AGS). Under operation (Period I), AGS rapidly lost their structural integrity resulting in loose and fluffy microbial aggregates which filamentous bacteria were dominant. The intermittent feeding II) allowed obtaining succession feast famine conditions that favored increase stability. Although no further breakage occurred, formation new granules very limited, owing absence hydraulic selection pressure. These results noted necessity ensure, on one hand feast/famine conditions, other, pressure allows flocculent washout. This preliminary study shows proposed could meet first aspect; contrast, biomass needs be improved.
