摘要: Spatial and temporal variations in the distribution of grain-size characteristics surficial sediments were studied areas susceptible to contamination associated with fine-grained identified Cullera Bay, Spain. We analyzed 90 sediment samples collected during six sampling campaigns July (mid-summer), September (end summer) November (mid-autumn) 2002, February (mid-winter), April (mid-spring) 2003. Different methods analysis (bivariant discriminant functions) applied interpret environments mechanisms deposition. To identify zones that showed greater susceptibility by toxic substances fine-grain sizes, contour maps prepared for campaigns. The at Bay classified according deposition scenario into shallow marine deposits fluvial Jucar River discharge. spatiotemporal variation coarse concentrated area nearest river mouth, whereas finest central northern bay dry season, making them harmful fraction.
