摘要: The discrimination learning ability of Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds was compared by means visual cues in a three-choice test with food as reward. learned significantly faster than Thoroughbreds, progressed more rapidly for both breeds second task. Significant negative correlations were observed between age rate learning. tended to be less reactive but individual emotional reactivity ratings scores not correlated. No correlation found social dominance scores. Learning studies horses may provide better understanding the behavioral traits that influence trainability this species.
