An Investigation of the Harmonic Emissions of Wind Turbines

摘要: Harmonic emissions of variable speed wind turbines (WTs) are a well-known issue, but little information that is based on field measurements actual machines has been published the subject. In this paper, harmonic behavior modern WTs using extensive performed commercially available discussed. Specific issues addressed include shape and frequency range current spectrum, variation harmonics with WT operating point, statistical characteristics their magnitude phase angle, effect grouping time-averaging, as well symmetrical component characteristics. The objective paper to outline important general WTs, rather than analyze specific or compare alternative designs
