摘要: This study identified factors associated with awareness of genetic testing for cancer risk in the US general population. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to analyze data from 2000 National Health Interview Survey. The strong predictors were education, race/ethnicity, immigration status, health interaction professionals, controlling socioeconomic diagnosis, family history cancer, and perceived personal risk. substantial lack among immigrant ethnic populations warrants further research tailored educational interventions. Ways improve quality patient interactions non-genetic clinicians promoting public knowledge are also worthy exploration.
