摘要: With supplement funding to the Washington University CTSA, Restoring Professionalism and Integrity in Research (RePAIR) program was developed at Saint Louis meet remediation needs of institutions nationwide regarding investigators who violate research regulations. aim determining frequency kinds wrongdoing leading United States, as well institutional responses levels interest a formal program, an online questionnaire distributed by email integrity officer (RIO) review board (IRB) chair all medical schools comprehensive doctoral States (N = 194). One hundred sixty-one individuals responded (44%) representing 66% institutions. For those that had both RIOs IRB chairs responding, 96% investigated least one case over past 2 years; modal individual response 3–5 cases, with range from 0 more than 16 cases. The most common forms were violations procedure, informed consent, (fabrication, falsification, plagiarism), privacy, conflict policies. Most expressed RePAIR despite concerns about costs faculty resistance.
