Operational modelling of peri-urban farmland for public action in Mediterranean context

摘要: Abstract Awareness of peri-urban farmland multi-functionality and social concern for food security have prompted public action the preservation around cities. A growing literature on farming characterises its dynamics quantifies urban pressure consumption by sprawl. However, such research requires expensive surveys comprehensive databases that are usually inaccessible to planners public-policy analysts. This paper presents an analytical framework characterisation is operational action.
