摘要: Modular platforms have become the centerpiece of collaborative value creation in customer-driven platform ecosystems. Platform ecosystems co-create platform's proposition and support its market adoption as more complementors join ecosystem to supply complementarities, valuable becomes customers due a greater variety choice. This poses new requirements on managing innovation open environments. While academic research stresses relevance complementary for success, it lacks, however, concrete understanding how operators can direct external innovational efforts complex self-organizing deliver while ensuring overall quality, reliability, consistency ‘whole’ product. Based case study results, this paper presents categorization control mechanisms currently applied markets, enabling operator steer within context strategy. From that an platform-based management process is developed.
