摘要: Abstract Phenylene-carbazolylene copolymers with variable composition and properties were prepared by electrocatalyzed dehalogenative polycondensation of 4,4′-dihalobiphenyl N -alkyl-3,6-dibromocarbazole mixtures in the presence a zero valent nickel catalyst. The polymers are partly soluble polar solvents this solubility depends on proportion carbazolylene units materials. For given composition, increases length aliphatic substituent linked to nitrogen. conductivity upon doping varies between those corresponding homopolymers is function alkyl substituents. Thin films these materials can be either solvent casting or direct electrodeposition onto various supports. electrochemical behavior strongly dependent copolymer reveals existence two distinct electronic states (two quantum wells): first one related units, while second shows phenylene moieties.
