摘要: Alignment of a prosthesis is defined as the position socket relative to other prosthetic components limb. During dynamic alignment prosthetist, using subjective judgment and feedback from patient, aims achieve most suitable limb geometry for best function comfort. Until recently it was generally believed that patient could only be satisfied with unique "optimum alignment." The purpose this systematic study lower-limb parameters gain an understanding factors make configuration or optimum alignment, acceptable obtain measure variation would amputee. In paper, range alignments 10 below- above-knee amputees are established. Three prosthetists were involved in majority 183 below-knee 100 fittings, although several also involved. effects each different prosthetist on established reported significant. It now amputee can tolerate ranging some by much 148 mm shifts 17 degrees tilts. This paper describes method defining measuring prostheses. presents quantitatively values bench adjustment required incorporation into design new units.
