摘要: AbstractSpontaneous rupture of the normal bladder associated with alcohol abuse is rare, only 20 cases reported in English literature to which we add 2 cases. Heavy ingestion predisposes by large volume fluid intake, its diuretic effect and mental obtusion it produces, clouding sensory cues void, α-Sympathomimetic drugs, such as cocaine methamphetamine, increase resistance at urethral sphincter exacerbate effects alcohol. Cystography will be diagnostic, prompt operative repair intraperitoneal mandatory. Complete evaluation bladder, including urodynamic study, important eliminate underlying pathological conditions. Substance abuse-related demonstrates a typical constellation clinical features that necessitate considering syndrome separate from other causes spontaneous rupture.
