摘要: Specimens of three species birds were collected from Lake Nakuru, Kenya, between September and October 1990. Samples liver, kidney, muscle, fat brain tissue removed analyzed for organochlorine pesticide residues. Fat was extracted the content lindane (BHC/HCH) isomers (α, τ β), aldrin, heptachlor, heptachlorepoxide, endrin, dieldrin, DDD, DDE DDT determined. The samples contained varying residue levels 12 pesticides. No residues 0, p'-DDD detected. most prevalent compounds α-BHC, found in 95.5 per cent 66.4 samples, respectively. highest median concentration 207 mg kg−1×10−3 pelican tissue. White pelicanPelecanus onocrotalus, white-necked cormorant,Phalacrocorax carbo, showed greater concentrations than lesser flamingo,Phoenicopterus minor. mean liver 1970 1990 64 274 kg−1×10−3, In cormorant 15 52 flamingo remained more or less similar at 2
