摘要: In this study, we investigated the antioxidant activity of ethanol extracts propolis (EEP) and vitamin C on biochemical indicators enzyme activities broilers exposed to heat stress (at 34 °C). The experimental groups were as follows: group I (positive control) II (control) fed a basal diet, III (vitamin C) was diet supplemented with 250 mg ascorbic acid/kg, IV (EEP-0.5) 0.5 g EEP/kg, V (EEP-1) 1 VI (EEP-3) 3 EEP/kg. Plasma superoxide dismutase levels positive control, C, EEP-0.5, EEP-1 EEP-3 found 0.34, 1.23, 0.50, 0.90, 0.30 0.41 μkat/ml, respectively (p < 0.01). Aspartate transaminase (except for EEP-0.5 groups) alkaline phosphatase in control significantly higher than those vitamin-C groups. Malondialdehyde level plasma, liver muscle tissues 0.05) EEP3 Catalase blood, liver, kidney heart highest group. Reduced glutathione plasma all not different from each other, whereas muscle, Significantly lower peroxidase 0.05), similar results present study suggest that EEP specially at dose mg/kg might be considered prevent oxidative stress. Propolis, enzymes, stress,
