摘要: Abstract Lu. flaviscutellata shows distinct variations in its microdistribution within the Utinga forest, Belem, Brazil. is attracted to, and feeds on, a wide variety of animals including rodents, marsupials birds. Of 2,774 sandflies caught from rodents 2,731 were , showing that it predominant species biting rodents. 1,523 female man, only 6 indicating this not inclined to bite man. The observed habits forests Para, Brazil, support our previous observations major vector leishmaniasis among Utinga, but important transmission disease man area. We suggest vectors involved are normally which readily both reservoir hosts.
