摘要: STM measurements of large size selected clusters Pd on HOPG show that the aspect ratio increases with increasing cluster size. The non-spherical nature these is traced back to aggregation regime in gas condensation source. and temperature create a slow coalescence process leads clusters. molecule methylphenyldisulphide studied Si(111)-7x7 by STM. found bond either as an intact or fragments after fission disulphide upon landing. exhibits 2:1 preference for middle adatom 7x7 unit cell suggesting it enters precursor state before adsorbing surface. new SPEAR technique uses tip collect photoelectrons generated at detection photocurrent W demonstrated. In case bare surface electronic states are resolved. However, signal from restricts resolution To resolve spectra nanometre scale coaxial required, this demonstrated through use simulations.
