Reactions of alkanes on supported Pt-Au alloys

摘要: Isomerization, dehydrocyclization and hydrogenolysis reactions of n-pentane n-hexane were studied on supported Pt Pt-Au alloys. The alloys all in the composition range where this system is completely miscible (18% Au). Characteristic changes selectivity towards different observed when was compared with 1–12.5% at temperatures 250–400 °C: (a) extremely diluted Au (1–4%) mainly catalyses isomerization; (b) a around 10% favor dehydrocyclization; (c) pure shows isomerization. From comparison it possible to suggest self-consistent picture mechanisms involved. For above reaction proceeds via one-site isomerization mechanism. Catalysts are comparable small particle catalysts show cyclization cyclic Pure bond shift mechanism (αα-γ adsorption) while ring closure probably an αα-Ω adsorbed intermediate.
