摘要: Abstract Microfluidic membrane extraction using a conventional hollow fiber is presented for continuous, on-line of arsenic. Previously reported micro-scale devices used flat membranes. These modules were relatively complex, difficult to seal, and high pressure drops made them prone leaks. The present design simpler, has higher active surface area per unit volume, allows faster flow rates leading enhanced mass transfer. On-line As(V) via chelation through supported liquid was followed by colorimetric detection with UV–vis spectrophotometer. Enrichment factors close 30, the limit 27 μg L −1 . linear reproducible. relative standard deviation six repeat extractions less than 3%.
