摘要: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection serves as a good example of the use polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for diagnosis viral infection. The technique is at least 104 times more sensitive than current dot blot hybridization assays HBV DNA. PCR overcomes disadvantage low concentrations DNA in patients with level viraemia, and permits detection, cloning, sequencing genomes from such patients. Use this assay indicates that loss HBeAg associated decrease rather complete disappearance
