摘要: In this paper we address the problem of network contention between migration traffic and Virtual Machine (VM) application for live co-located Machines. When VMs are migrated with pre-copy, they run at source host during migration. Therefore VM applications predominantly outbound contend outgoing host. Similarly, post-copy migration, destination inbound incoming Such increases total time degrades performance application. Here, propose a traffic-sensitive technique to reduce traffic. It uses combination pre-copy techniques (those located on same host), instead relying any single pre-determined all VMs. We base selection VMs' profiles so that direction complements most have implemented prototype KVM/QEMU platform. evaluation, compare against approaches use only or show our approach minimizes thus reducing degradation.
