Improvised explosive device detection/destruction/disablement

摘要: Apparatus and accompanying methods for the detection subsequent destruction or disablement of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) while maintaining a satisfactory level human safety. Operationally, our inventive method apparatus detects IED using one more including: detecting internal battery components; magnetic signature(s) IED; characteristic energy spectrum and/or chemical signatures device(s). Once detected, device may be further characterized then subsequently deactivated destroyed by shaped pulse charge directed at its power source (battery) from safe distance.
