摘要: Human saliva is a biological fluid of great importance in the field dissolution testing. However, until now, no consensus has been reached on its key characteristics relevant to As result, it difficult select or develop an vitro medium best represent human saliva. In this study, pH, buffer capacity, surface tension, viscosity and flow rate both unstimulated (US) stimulated (SS) were investigated order provide platform reference for future studies using simulated salivary fluids. Age gender related differences sample size 30 participants each parameter investigated. Significant established between US SS all except tension. Therefore, requirement two fluids should be considered when developing oral model.
