Zitterbewegung, chirality, and minimal conductivity in graphene

摘要: It has been recently demonstrated experimentally that graphene, or single-layer carbon, is a gapless semiconductor with massless Dirac energy spectrum. A finite conductivity per channel of order $e^{2}/h$ in the limit zero temperature and charge carrier density one striking features this system. Here we analyze peculiarity based on Kubo Landauer formulas. The appearance without scattering shown to be characteristic property chiral fermions two dimensions.
