Understanding the very nature of Project Management : a praxiological approach

摘要: Foreword: In this paper I call upon a praxiological approach. Praxeology (early alteration of praxiology) is the study human action and conduct. The name praxeology/praxiologyakes root in praxis, Medieval Latin, from Greek, doing, action, prassein to do, practice (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Having been involved project management education, research for last twenty years, have constantly tried improve provide better understanding/knowledge field related practice, as consequence widen deepen competencies people was working with (and my own well!), assuming that lead more efficient effective use resources, development at end world. For some time perceived need clarify foundations discipline management, or least elucidate what these could be. An immodest task, one might say! But not neutral one! am surprised by way world (i.e., organizations, universities, students professional bodies) sees management: set methods, techniques, tools, interacting others fields – general engineering, construction, information systems, etc. bringing ways dealing various sets problems launching new satellite product through organizational change.
