摘要: SUMMARY Many branches of engineering, mathematics, and sciences, have relied on benchmark problems as a standard means to compare different solution techniques. Since 1996, the ASCE Structural Control Monitoring Committee Task Group Benchmark Problems, U.S. Panel structural control, IASCM developed series control that offer set carefully modeled real-world structures in which strategies can be implemented, evaluated, compared using common performance indices. First-, second- third-generation focusing response seismic wind-excited buildings, seismically excited long-span cable-stayed bridges been evaluated. The monitoring (currently chaired by Professor Satish Nagarajaiah, Rice University, Houston, TX), IASCM, committee new study designed for base-isolated building subjected strong near-fault pulse-like ground motions. special issue phase I smart problem with linear isolation system was successfully completed published. This focuses II nonlinear systems—friction or elastomeric system. Copyright r 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
