摘要: 21 CENTURY CHANGE IN SEA-LEVEL PRESSURE INVESTIGATED NORTH PACIFIC OCEAN by Emerson N. LaJoie Mean changes in the climatology of century annual variance sea-level pressure field North Pacific Ocean were investigated from all climate models that used Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4). In several specific areas, a statistically significant increase was simulated for three emission scenarios; however, magnitude change did not follow forcing. The results indicate increased low-pressure activity Bering Sea, Strait, Alaska, Gulf Canadian Rocky Mountains, and west coast U.S. A separate study potential correlation between predicted individual models’ equilibrium sensitivity value. Statistically significant, positively correlated regions each scenario over eastern portions found. indicated that, U.S., could be model’s to CO2 robustness examined using two different multimodel groups.
