AC losses in a type II superconductor strip with inhomogeneous critical current distribution

摘要: Analytical formulae derived by Brandt and Indenbom (1993 Phys. Rev. B 48 12893–906) Norris (1970 J. D: Appl. 3 489–507) are often used to calculate the magnetization AC transport current losses in HTS strip conductors, respectively. In these formulae, homogeneous distribution of critical sheet density σc is assumed. However, it considered that distributions inhomogeneous actual strips cause deviations measured loss data from those formulae. A semi-analytical method for a type II superconductor with direction width. The modifying analysis et al. validity shown comparing results calculated this different our previous work also experimental data. Moreover, deviation models can be estimated assuming proper distributions.
