摘要: Milk osmolarity maintains an isotonic status for suckling infants during lactation. However, it remains unclear how the water content in milk is regulated lactating mammary glands. In alveoli and ducts, epithelial cells (MECs) are direct contact with milk. this study, we focus on two types of channels, aquaporin 3 (AQP3) AQP5, alveolar ductal MECs before after parturition. AQP3 showed diffuse localization cytoplasm but concentrated basolateral membrane late pregnancy lactation periods. Translocation AQP5 from toward apical occurred immediately Subsequently, examined hormonal influences expression cultured vitro. Progesterone estrogen distinctly increased MECs, respectively. Cotreatment prolactin dexamethasone significantly decreased both AQP5. Prolactin also facilitated translocation into MECs. was homogeneously expressed whereas different levels between regardless treatment. Different activation states prolactin/STAT5 pathway were observed These findings suggest that pattern by lactogenic hormones may function as a channel to regulate mice.
