摘要: This paper reports on a model investigation of particular episode tropospheric ozone formation in the city Lyon, France. A large-scale measurement campaign involving ground-based analyzers, sampling, Sodars and Lidars has been used to validate results. Based validated meteorological data primary pollutant concentrations, numerical run obtain 3D concentration profiles during whole (22-25 June 1999). The results are compared Lidar vertical profiles. Good agreement between predictions is first obtained 22 (but not following days). On 23 24 June, concentrations significantly underestimated by model. measurements allowed identifying large import processes from high altitudes that explain difference. In second simulation, these imports taken into account as new boundary conditions. yielded good experimental predicted over period. evidence altitude intrusion confirmed back-trajectories calculations.
