摘要: AIM Scoliosis is a frequently occurring and serious complication of severe cerebral palsy (CP). This systematic review aims to the assess risk factors associated with emergence progression scoliosis in children CP functioning at level IV or V Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS). METHOD Relevant studies conducted from 1966 March 2009 were identified Embase, Medline, Scopus. The methodological quality was assessed relations between documented systematically. RESULTS Ten included. They had low evidence heterogeneous quality. No associations found type age, type, location scoliotic curve scoliosis. Weak present for an association severity CP, hip dislocation, pelvic obliquity INTERPRETATION precludes drawing firm conclusions on CP. However, given high prevalence disorder its consequences daily life, more research this area urgently needed.
