摘要: In this work, we report 2 cases of vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium bacteremia with development daptomycin resistance in patients acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. Mutations related to daptomycin-nonsusceptible phenotype liaSR genes were found all strains the study, including those a minimum inhibitory concentration <1 µg/mL collected before therapy. Epidemiological investigation using core genome single nucleotide polymorphism multilocus sequence typing revealed clonality isolates. conclude that real-time sequencing clinical isolates can provide rapid access timely information on daptomycin-resistant genotypes would help clinicians speed up optimize selection antibiotic for treatment.
