Cellulite treatment: a myth or reality: a prospective randomized, controlled trial of two therapies, endermologie and aminophylline cream.

摘要: Cellulite is a common phenomenon that particularly affects the thighs and buttocks of women. Little scientific evidence exists to support any many advertised treatments for it. A total 52 69 women, who were divided into three groups, completed 12-week, randomized, controlled trial in which effectiveness two different cellulite was assessed. The patients acted as their own controls. investigated twice-daily application aminophylline cream twice-weekly treatment with Endermologie ES1. Group 1 (double blind) received one thigh/buttock placebo other. 2 (singly thigh/buttock. 3 both sides used same regimen group 1. Results assessed subjectively by patient clinical examination photographic assessment surgeon (before after trial). Morphologic included body mass index, thigh girth at points, fat depth measurement ultrasound. No statistical difference existed measurements between legs groups (paired t test, p > 0.4). best subjective assessment, themselves, revealed only 35 aminophylline-treated 10 Endermologie-treated had appearance improved. authors do not believe either these effective improving cellulite.
