摘要: A novel pH-responsive supramolecular polymer based on the pillar[5]arene/imidazolium cation recognition motif was successfully prepared. It demonstrated that binding strength between monomer molecules in solution could be reduced by adding base, thereby leading to a decrease polymerization degree, while reverse switch achieved addition of acid change back cationic state. These processes were confirmed 1H NMR, DOSY experiments, viscosity measurements and theoretical calculations. Moreover, rod-like fiber drawn from high concentration characterized SEM, providing direct evidence formation with molecular weight degree linear chain extension. In this study, reversible transition high-molecular-weight relatively low-molecular-weight one, is, control realized simply altering pH. results are helpful for future fabrication adaptive smart materials stimuli-responsiveness special functions.
