摘要: Abstract Most fire-related injuries and fatalities in the UK, other parts of world, continue to occur during fires home – incidents where it is acknowledged that human factors play a contributing role. Yet field fire safety lacks an up-to-date review literature on behaviour domestic spaces. Given there now growing body work looking at dwelling fires, this area timely. Drawing from published studies, paper sets out what currently known about highlights differences appear exist between these spaces accepted public, commercial industrial This then goes consider nature “fire risk”, arguing much continues conflate, or fails recognise existence of, different types risk profiles, instead considering as single type risk, based mainly related fatalities. However, research findings point towards least three separate forms: occurring, injury fatality. By drawing together argues those who survive cannot be considered “near miss fatalities”, but must treated distinct group.
