摘要: Background Recent improvement in treatment of patients with cancer caused longer survival but also an increase the number at risk developing anemia and impaired quality life (QOL). Previous studies found that personality confers increased morbidity related to immunological status, unless receive paychological care or intervention. Method This study examined anemia-related by comparing patients’ subjective reports QOL using QOL-20 subscales (correlated hemoglobin levels before after surgery chemotherapy) among 16 types on Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, EPQ-25. Results Differences were accounted for trait neuroticism (N+) conjunction introversion (E−), vulnerability softmindedness (P−) lack repression social-naivety (L−), providing evidence three types, intolerant (E−N+P−), melancholic (E−N+) high-anxious (N+L−), as potential factors deficits. These predictive morbidity, independent tumor site, TNM stage, age sex. Sensitivity prediction was 90.6% (intolerant type), 87.2% (melancholic type) 62.2% (high-anxious type). Coclusion The these provides insight into strategy patient selection stratification prophylactic treatment, debility preoperative support intervention well recombinant human erythropoietin, improving morbidity.
