摘要: The subject matter of this chapter is the flow a gas-solid mixture in pipe and through an orifice: granular solid will be downward, while gas may cocurrent or countercurrent to solid. Such pipe, with downflow particulate solid, often referred as standpipe. It can vertical connected bottom opening hopper, cyclone dipleg, solids transfer line for transferring out fluidized bed. Examples standpipes found hydrocarbon cracking process, Fischer-Tropsch coal gasification liquefaction processes, other processes involving pipe. A number such have been described by Zenz Othmer (1960) Kunii (1980). orifice associated where valve (i.e., orifice) present at one both ends
