摘要: The Bose-Einstein condensation of excitons in titanium diselenide TiSe${}_{2}$ has garnered immense attention as a prototypical example observing emergent properties from many-body quantum effects. authors have demonstrated that below the transition temperature periodic lattice distortions hamper spontaneous formation exciton by introducing charge density wave gap. Meanwhile, finite electronic introduces dissipation channel and prevents above temperature. Together, these findings explain experimentally observed fragile dependence condensation.
