摘要: Abstract A novel process, termed the co-combustion has been developed and designed to utilise thermal treatment of municipal solid waste (MSW) in cement clinker production reduce PCDD/PCDF emissions. To test conceptual design; detailed engineering design process equipment was performed a pilot plant constructed treat up 40 tonnes MSW per day. The features included several units external main traditional rotary kiln: • an kiln secondary combustion unit capable producing hot gas at 1200 °C; calcinations which calcined limestone thus making significant energy savings for this chemical reaction; lime generated used second chamber act as giant acid scrubber remove SO x particularly HCl (a source chloride); cooler simulate boiler turbogenerator set electricity generation; incorporation some bottom ash, dust collector solids into clinker. inventory completed entire measured emissions were 0.001 ng I-TEQ/Nm 3 on average is 1% best practical means [Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department, 2001. guidance note practicable incinerators (municipal incineration), BPM12/1] incineration emission limit values.
