Development of ZnO/PDMS nanocomposite with photocatalytic/hydrophobic multifunction

摘要: Abstract The polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)/ZnO nanocomposite coatings were deposited on the borosilicate substrate by spray method. ZnO nanoparticles synthesized polyol method and further surface modification functionalization with [(3-Aminopropyl)triethoxysilane] (APTS) in different concentrations (0.5, 1.0, 1.5 ml). results showed that there is an influence exposure to UV radiation a decrease temperature, consequently presenting decreases contact angle of ZnO/PDMS nanocomposites. 0.5 ml APTS was best design for photocatalytic hydrophobic characteristics, showing 117° 25% MB discoloration 90 min.
