摘要: The aim of this study was to determine if a reservoir sub-clinical LGV infection exists in men who have sex with (MSM), as finding might account for the recent rise lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) Chlamydia trachomatis infections among MSM Canada. without proctitis were enrolled between January and August 2006 cross-sectional study. Rectal, urine, serology pharyngeal specimens tested specific C. serovars. median age 253 participants 43 years; 53% HIV+. We found no active cases infection; but 20 (8%) had positive serology. Thirteen (5%) non-LGV infections. Unprotected anopenetrative intercourse, rectal enema drug use associated infection. Sub-clinical relatively common not identified our sample. Further studies screening chlamydia are needed.
