A compact electron cyclotron resonance proton source for the Paul Scherrer Institute's proton accelerator facility

摘要: A compact electron cyclotron resonance proton source has been developed and installed recently at the Paul Scherrer Institute's high intensity accelerator. Operation ion test stand accelerator demonstrates a reliability stability of new source. When operated 10 − 12 mA net current lifetime exceeds 2000 h. The essential development steps towards observed performance are described.
