摘要: SUMMARY: Background and Aim: Tubular atrophy is a major feature of most renal diseases closely associated with the loss function. The present study sought to investigate whether Fas/FasL-induced tubular epithelial cell apoptosis was experimental diabetic nephropathy. effects renoprotective therapy blockade renin-angiotensin (RAS) system were also examined. Method: Six-week-old female Ren-2 rats injected streptozotocin maintained for 12 weeks. Further groups treated angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, perindopril, 12 weeks. Results: Widespread apoptosis, identified by using mediated Terminal dUTP nick-end labelling (TUNEL) staining noted in tubules rats. These changes an increase both Fas mRNA L (ligand) within (P < 0.01). Treatment perindopril (6 mg/kg per day) reduced control levels reduction protein (P < 0.05). Conclusion: In conclusion, Fas/Fas L-induced attenuated RAS.
