摘要: Suboptimal listening conditions interfere with listeners' on-line comprehension. A degraded source signal, noise that interferes sound transmission, and/or cognitive or linguistic limitations are examples of adverse conditions. Few studies have explored the interaction these factors in pediatric populations. Yet, they represent an increasing challenge educational settings. We will following report on our research and address effect pertaining to speakers' voices, background noise, children's capacity Results from clearly indicate children risk underachieving both formal assessments noisy class-rooms when examiner teacher speaks a hoarse (dysphonic) voice. This seems particularly true task complexity is low child approaching her/his limits mastering comprehension task.
