摘要: Abstract The conversion behavior of 2MEP4FS, a polymer with thermally reversible Diels–Alder cross-links, is modeled. A processing method developed to create small, homogeneous prepolymer samples. glass transition temperature the estimated using modulated differential scanning calorimetry and equated polymer. Comparing measured energy literature computational estimates, fully cured appears have large portion its moieties unreacted. An autocatalytic model considered approximate reaction rate 2MEP4FS as function temperature. Outside fitted range, underpredicts rates at room 100 °C. Manual mixing monomers determined be inadequate obtain maximum level cross-linking. Viscosity measurements made elevated temperatures are correlated prepolymer.
