摘要: Pigments for use in paper are comprised of structured aggregate clays which reaction products kaolin and colloidal silicas. Silica modified low treatment level can under certain high-shear mixing conditions be attritioned back to their starting clay particle size consequently yielding silica coated particles that provide unique properties. Also provided produced by the clay, silicas spacer such as titanium dioxide, have improved porosity light scattering characteristics. slurry comprise mixtures product silica, optionally blended with other products.
