摘要: The past 10 years have seen a resurgence of interest in the field polymer mechanochemistry. Whilst destructive effects mechanical force on chains been known for decades, it was only recently that researchers tapped into these forces to realize more useful chemical transformations. current review discusses strategic incorporation weak covalent bonds polymers create materials with stress-sensing and damage-repairing properties. Firstly, development mechanochromism mechanoluminescence as stress reporters is considered. second half focuses net formation response force, via mechanocatalysis mechanically unmasked reactivity, concludes perspectives field.
