摘要: Abstract Yellowtail catfish, Pangasius pangasius namely deshi pangas is one of the major important native species Bangladesh. It was available in most rivers Bangladesh last two decades. Recently, IUCN Red List has categorized P. as an endangered species. To save this from situation, a sequential experiment conducted on induced breeding to optimize hormonal doses pituitary gland (PG). In regards, three treatments (double administered for female viz. 2 + 8 mg PG/kg, 1.5 + 8.0 mg PG/kg and 2 + 10 mg body weight T1, T2 T3, respectively whereas single dose male 2 mg 1.5 mg respectively) have been pangasius. Twelve brood fishes (6 males: 6 females) were used each successfully responded at age 4.5+ year its life, breeds between July August with peak August. Highest ovulation rate (100%), fertilization (30.0 ± 0.3%), hatching (24.8 ± 0.7%) survival (47.0 ± 12.3% after 72 h) found T3. However, there no larvae hatched T1 negligible number (0.7 ± 0.1%) died shortly. larval growth pangasius, average 2.0 ± 0.1, 4.4 ± 0.1, 6.9 ± 0.3, 10.1 ± 1.1, 16.4 ± 1.7, 45.5 ± 2.8 66.7 ± 3.2 g rearing nursery pond 5, 10, 20, 30, 60, 90 120 days, respectively. The findings present study disclosed first success well
