Indicators of sustainable production: framework and methodology

摘要: Abstract This paper presents a new tool for promoting business sustainability — indicators of sustainable production. It first introduces the concept production as defined by Lowell Center Sustainable Production, University Massachusetts Lowell. Indicators are discussed next, including their dimensions and desirable qualities. Based on Indicator Framework, authors suggest methodology core supplemental raising companies' awareness measuring progress toward systems. Twenty-two proposed detailed guidance application is included. An eight-step model provides context indicator implementation. The concludes with summary strengths weaknesses well recommendations testing indicators.
